
Marissa Chura is a Massachusetts based contemporary dancer and choreographer. She graduated from Connecticut College in 2018 with a BA in Dance and Hispanic Studies, and received the 2018 Dance Department Award “for demonstrating with excellence the scope of dance as a poetic and communicative art form”. While at Connecticut College, she danced in works by David Dorfman, Lisa Race, Heidi Henderson, Thomas DeFrantz and Derrick Yanford. Marissa has performed with Allo Movement Project, Urbanity Underground and GUSTO Dance, and has also presented solo work in NACHMO Boston and the Salem Arts Festival.
